I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Public Health, Policy & Systems and a member of the Health Inequalities Policy Research (HIP-R) team. I work with Professor David Taylor-Robinson on one of the NIHR School for Public Health Research funded projects on the Intelligence for public health action to improve outcomes and address inequalities in children and young people’s health. My research interests include evaluating the impact of economic policies and interventions on health and wellbeing outcomes.
I have a PhD in Economics from the University of Strathclyde Business School, Glasgow. Before my PhD, I have worked as a research associate at the Centre for the Study of the Economies of Africa (CSEA), and the Centre for Econometric and Applied Research, Nigeria. I am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA), an international and professional recognition of my commitment to learning and teaching.
