Aliyu Akorede Rufai, PhD is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Econometrics and Applied Research, Ibadan, Lecturer I (PT) at Dominican University, Ibadan and Part-time (PT) Lecturer at Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria. Dr. Rufai holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (Hons) in Economics from Babcock University, a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Lagos and a Ph.D. from Babcock University. Dr. Rufai started his professional career at Megavons (West Africa) Limited, as a Management Trainee (Admin) and rose to Assistant Manager (Salaries & Wages), before joining the service of Quartenion Systems Limited, Victoria Island, Lagos state, as research Analyst. Dr. Rufai has created and instructed courses (modules) on Time Series Econometrics, Economic Theory, Mathematics for Economists, Statistics, and Financial Econometrics, and he is familiar with delivering learning, teaching, and evaluation in a university setting. In addition, he is proficient with IT technologies, especially those used in teaching, research (analytical tools), and the virtual learning environment (e.g., Blackboard, Google Classroom). Furthermore, he has published in peer review journals like Energy research Letters, International Journal of Housing Markets and Analysis, Journal of Economic and Allied Research, as so on. He serves as reviewer for some academic journals like International Journal of Housing Markets and Analysis (Emerald Publishing), Scientific African (Elsevier Publisher), Emerging Markets Finance and Trade (Taylor & Francis Publishers), Energy RESEARCH LETTERS – Asia-Pacific Applied Economics Association (Publons and Scopus) and Associate editor at Carnelian Journal of Law and Politics, Babcock University School of Law & Security Studies, Babcock University.
