The Centre is pleased to announce the award of a research grant to Professor Afees Salisu by The African Economic Research Consortium to conduct a study titled “The Net-Zero Emissions Transition (NZE) by 2050: Simulating the Fiscal Impact on Resource-Dependent African Countries”, 2025 – 2026. This is expected to provide fiscal deficit projections for about twenty (20) resource-dependent African countries due to the global implementation of the Net Zero Emission transition by 2050. The Centre is proud to be associated with this impactful study for the African continent.
